Min y llyn is a traditional stone fronted holiday cottage situated in the centre of Llangorse village, in the Brecon Beacons National Park . The cottage is surrounded by stunning views of the Brecon Beacons and Black Mountains, an ideal location for families and those interested in outdoor activities. Llangorse Lake, the largest natural lake in South Wales is a short stroll from the holiday cottage.
Llangorse village offers many activities such as pony trekking, an indoor climbing wall and a multitude of walks and bike trails within the Brecon Beacons National Park. Llangorse Lake, well known for its Pike fishing, sailing, canoeing and water skiing with scenic views of the Brecon Beacons in the distance is an idyllic setting whether for a lazy afternoon or an activity filled holiday.
Min y llyn has 1 double bedroom with en suite bathroom, 1 twin bedded room and1 single bedded room with an additional pull- out bed (2’ 6” x 5’ 9”) if required.
The holiday cottage has a fully fitted pine kitchen with electric cooker, dishwasher, microwave etc. The utility room provides a storage area for coats and boots and also has a deep freeze and washing machine. There is a spacious sitting room with wood burning stove and comfy seating, an initial large basket of logs is provided for you. The cottage is centrally heated, has ample parking for 3 cars and is situated in a peaceful location down a private drive.
Min y llyn holiday cottage is of a high standard and immaculately maintained. Largelawned gardens and flower beds surround the property. A gas BBQ and wooden outdoor seating is provided in the garden.

The Brecon Beacons National Park covers an area of approximately 519 squaremiles, the highest summit being Pen- y- Fan which is 2,907 feet, a beautiful backdrop to Llangorse village and easily identified with its flat top.
Situated 6 miles from Llangorse is the market town of Brecon. Brecon has 2 museums; the Welsh Borderer’s Museum containing artefacts from the famous battle of Rorke’s Drift and the Brecknock Museum with its historic findsfrom the locality and displays relating to the area.
The Brecon and Monmouthshire Canal’s starting point alongside Brecon Theatre provides scenic walks along the towpath or you can take a canal barge ride through the locks and across the aquaduct over the River Usk.
Five miles from Brecon is the National Park Visitors Centre, this has a cafe, picnicarea and shop. Throughout the year there are various planned activities and guidedwalks organised by the National Park wardens.
Brecon has two golf courses and a leisure centre.
